Recent Tutoring Session Reviews
"Student A and I continued with problems on solving systems of linear equations by graphing, substitution and adding/ subtracting. He handled them well. He had a good attitude today. Student B reported that he got a 14 out of 16 on his math quiz last week, which was on solving linear equations by graphing and substitution. He just started to learn solving linear systems of equations for adding/ subtracting (elimination). He understood the material very well and had a good attitude today."
"We had a very good session today. We did some work on polar coordinates and manipulating them into linear and quadratic equations. The session went very smoothly. Overall, it was a really productive session, and the student did well, as usual."
"Today, we went over inequalities and graphing them on a number line in preparation for the student's test. I left her with some study skills to practice problems she has already done."
"The concept we covered was systems of equations and how to come up with their solutions. The student needed some clarification on how to solve a general system of equations within equations. Also, she needed some clarification on how to evaluate the Wronskian of a system of equations. We went over these concepts and she understood them fully."
"We reviewed nth roots, simplifying radical expressions, and rational exponents in preparation for the student's quiz on the subjects. We covered several different worksheets, and she demonstrated the ability to correctly complete all problems on her own. I anticipate no problems with her quiz next week."
"We reviewed integration by substitution with trig functions and powers. The student has a test this week on this material and said he was much more comfortable with the material now and had no further questions."
