"Spent time with each student. Student 1 is reading David Copperfield. Student 2 is reading passages that I bring - and answering questions about them."
"The student and I began the session going over the homework from the previous session. He did better on the Reading practice activity using the four-step basic approach than he had with his own approach. Then we worked through the Science section of the ACT prep section. We talked about inverse and direct relationships, as well as linear and exponential. Finally, he completed another section of reading practice, and he got a score of eight out of ten! I left him with a few activities to complete for the next session."
"The student and I continue to go over writing skills. He wrote a couple of writing prompts that I had provided. We checked over and discussed his writing. We also went through a number of exercises designed to build vocabulary and improve spelling. I had also left him with a long list of spelling words to study. We did spelling drills at which he performed very well. His spelling is improving!"
"The student and I continued going over her assessment. She then started Fry sight words. She wrote down the words she needed to practice. We practiced words with the modified vowel. We played a game with her sight words."
