Recent Tutoring Session Reviews
"Today we went over theorems and converses that prove two lines are perpendicular or parallel. The student is learning to apply reasoning to his statements very well. I see a lot of improvement in his capability to use analytical thinking to find the right way to prove an answer. This will prove extremely useful as the course progresses."
"Today, we conducted an extensive review of complex numbers, solving equations, simplifying expressions and radical expressions/rational exponents for a test. We also began discussing and working factoring polynomials."
"Today, we covered algebraic and geometric proofs and the student understand the logic in proofs. After that, we were able to go through the concepts explained in class."
"Today, we covered using protractors and compasses to create perpendicular lines, angle bisectors, angles, and dividing lines into equal segments. We also had covered reflexive, substitution, symmetric, and transitive properties and applied this to homework 2.4, which was due tomorrow."
"Today, we covered vertical angles, linear pairs, angle bisectors, and supplementary and complementary angles. The only real problem the student had was vocabulary. He had a good attitude and was focused and engaged for the entire session. I encouraged him to get clarification from his teacher on the notebook requirements and test dates."
"Today, we reviewed for the student's Friday quiz. We worked with multi-step equations using fractions, decimals, and problems using consecutive integers. I expect him will do very well on his quiz, as usual."
