I have over eight years experience tutoring, mostly in math and science, but other subjects as well. I attempt to find analogous concepts from a student's other interests or daily experiences to make abstract concepts more understandable. I believe that generally, grasping a concept follows on from realizing it's not so foreign as we used to think.

I am a Finance Major and Biochemistry Minor at Arizona State University. I have helped tutor my peers throughout my educational career. My approach is all about helping the student understand "Why" something works the way it does and not just "How".
