Recent Tutoring Session Reviews
"In Tuesday evening's session, we covered Chapter 4 in the Chemistry textbook: Bonding. We reviewed the different types of bonds, the octet rule, electronegativity, trends on the period table of elements, and molecular geometry. We worked on examples relating to molecular geometry, ion charges, and net dipoles, and also worked on a few problems in the back of the chapter."
"The student and I worked exclusively on her Reconstruction paper that was due the next day. She typed the intro, which we had worked on together last week, and then she had two body paragraphs + the start of the third. I think we made some really good corrections in what she had written. By the time I left she had a third body paragraph and conclusion that looked really good. She did have to finish putting in the corrections we talked about, though, for the second body paragraph. She seemed pretty confident about it, and she had a lot of good ideas."
