Recent Tutoring Session Reviews
"The student and I discussed breadboarding basics and circuit analysis. I introduced him to free site for virtual breadboarding."
"Today we went over material from his Electrical Engineering class. Specifically, Thevenizing and Norton's theorem. The student did excellently well."
"We went over old homework problems in order to prepare him for his upcoming thermodynamics midterm. Topics included the energy balances of closed and open systems as well as the Carnot cycle."
"We went through a worksheet on momentum and impulse. It was mostly an introduction focusing on the definitions of momentum and impulse, and how they relate back to previous concepts. We also went through some test corrections on rational functions."
"We went through all of the questions on the student's chemistry test that were marked wrong. We also covered her geometry homework, which was about congruent triangles. The student seemed to understand her mistakes and correct them accordingly."
"We went through balancing chemical formulas and talked about how oxidation states can impact equations as well. From there, I quizzed the student by giving him the common names of compounds and asking him to construct the formulas from just that information. He did very well on the quiz and seemed quite confident in his abilities. To close out the session, we went a little ahead of the class lecture and discussed the five foundational chemical reaction types."
