"Today the student and I began our session by reviewing her homework. We discussed the concepts of finding the area between two curves and integration by parts, and then moved on to finding the volume using cross sections, washers, and discs. We will discuss more of these concepts when we meet tomorrow."
"We reviewed the concepts from last time including the definition of the derivative, the quotient rule and the product rule. We then learned the derivative of sine and cosine and used those to solve for the derivatives of all the other trig functions. The student is getting a hang of this, but forgetting a few rules."
"The student had a test for tonight to finish preparing for. We had covered some of the review last session and then spent the whole time today just going over the review. He would pick out problems he wanted to go over and then would try them to see if he was getting them correct or not. Despite a few minor errors, he was mostly doing everything well.
