Creative Cosmos Crew Summer Track

Art comes in all kinds of forms, so Adventures in Art Camp is dedicated to the discovey of different styles, mediums, and methods for creativity. Each day will bring a brand new art project using basic art supplies and household materials; from drawings to collage to origami, students will turn simple supplies into amazing art, and have lots of fun doing it.

Art is all about making fun things and exploring our imaginations! In our 4-day virtual camp, each day brings a brand new art project for your little creator, using simple art supplies and things you already have at home. We'll draw, create simple puppets, do some simple collage and think about all the fun ways to be an artist! Join us for 4 days of art fun!

In Amazing Animal Adventures classes, learners will get to know some of the world’s most exotic and incredible animals, and learn about the habitats, habits, and adaptations that made them that way. Each week students will explore a different wildlife theme and “meet” several incredible animals while learning how scientists analyze and learn about them, too. Students can drop in for one weekly adventure or return often to explore them all.

Embark on a wild adventure with "Animal Adventure Camp," where Ms. Amalia brings the animal kingdom right to your screen! In this immersive five-day experience, young explorers will come face-to-face with fascinating creatures from across the globe through exciting live animal presentations. Students will journey from the slithering world of reptiles to the soaring heights of birds, track magnificent mammals, dive into mysterious ocean depths, and discover the tiny but mighty invertebrates that shape our world.

Introduce your learner to French words and phrases with weekly French for Beginners classes. Learning a language is a great way to appreciate other cultures and regions, as well as to develop better grammar and communication skills in your primary language, too. Led by expert instructors, students will learn and practice speaking, reading, writing, and listening in French as they explore a new theme each month. That allows learners to join for a month at a time for a petit look at the language, or join several months in a row to learn French beaucoup (a lot).

Chess champions see the board differently. A five-day strategy syllabus will show campers just how to do it. Over 70 percent of the earth’s surface is covered in oceans, so there’s always plenty to explore in Ocean Adventures class. Here students will learn about the waves and tides, amazing aquatic animals, shipwrecks, and more as each session covers a different oceanic theme. Students can join a single session to get their feet wet or come weekly to really exercise their sea legs.

Grab your dancing shoes and warm up your singing voices—because in Rocking and Reading, we fuse the science of reading with a rock concert vibe that kids (and grown-ups) will love. Over the course of five one-hour sessions, we’ll dive into all the short vowel sounds, creating an immersive story where YOU help Mizz KT track down the missing letters, invite them onstage, and cheer them on as they perform their show-stopping songs!

STEM Innovation Camp challenges every student to become an inventor this summer. Through expert instruction and engaging, hands-on daily lessons, students will learn the skills and mindset that it takes to become an inventor, from the scientific method to simple machines to creating innovative ideas in the first place. By the end of this action packed week, students will think like inventors, seeing problems as challenges and science as opportunity.

Pencil your young artist in for a drawing seminar they’ll never forget. They’ll sketch realistic portraits, landscapes, and action scenes while learning tools and techniques they can continue to draw on.

Make your summer ¡más divertido! (more fun) with this exciting five-day Spanish camp for beginners. Each day will cover a different theme as students develop their Spanish vocabulary and skills for reading, speaking, and listening to the Spanish language. From beach adventures to outdoor games to refreshing summer treats, students will love learning from thematic lessons that embrace the season and set them on a course to love learning languages.

Everyone loves a good story. So what turns a reader or talker into an author? Drop in to the storyteller’s studio to find out! Each week, learners will examine key elements of a story, explore the components of their favorite tales, and learn to use these elements to create their own characters and stories. Tell your young author to bring their imagination; these sessions will show them how to turn it into art.

Learn the science behind common symptoms and how the body protects and heals itself.

The word “animate” literally means “bring to life.” So Young Animators Camp is designed to bring creativity to life with daily drawing tutorials and loads of collaborative challenges. Campers meet daily with a small group of fellow artists and an expert art instructor to learn, practice, and animate new themes each day.

Everyone has a story to tell, and in this camp young storytellers will become authors! Over four days, students will break down the elements of a story and workshop stories of their own, developing characters, a plot, elements of suspense, and a resolution (which may or may not be happily ever after). In the end, they’ll have a story that they can print, bind, and share. Here’s what they’ll do.
