We worked on various math topics such as adding like terms with positives and negatives, multiplying equations, and dividing equations. Once she became more comfortable with the process, she was able to do many of the calculations in her head. She did a great job."

We continue our work in making book-to-self connections, and he was able to make so many different connections, without even being prompted. We will start a new strategy at our next session. In math, we continued our work with multiple-step math word problems."

We continued with multiplication and did an addition and subtraction review. I introduced to to him more computer games that he can play to enhance his skills. Overall, the session we very productive."
"The student is working hard on her multiplication facts (currently on 6-8). We set up a schedule for her to slowly add more multiplication facts from her 9's, 11's, and 12's. Otherwise, she just completed a page-long project on her upcoming trip to San Francisco, and will read two books before our next meeting."
"The student is working on multiplication, but is getting very stressed and putting too much pressure on himself. We started working on the 3x tables, but switched to doubles and 2x so that he can build some confidence in hearing the word multiply. He did awesome with the 2x by skip counting. We practiced place value through the hundreds tonight to end the session and leave on a high note."
"The student is working on perfecting her long division. She's shown complete understanding of 3 digit subtraction as well. She works hard in her sessions and shows interest in how this math is relevant to daily life. She is showing great strength in her reading comprehension. She is able to interact with her novel. She is becoming more analytical about her writing and is showing great growth there as well. We will be working on science on Thursday."
