How can a LSAT tutor help you?

You're about to graduate from undergraduate school! This is an exciting time, but now what? If your dream is to one day become a lawyer, then the next step will be applying to law school, but before you can do that, you will need to take the Law School Admissions Test (LSAT). The results of this exam are extremely important and are weighed heavily for admissions into law schools; therefore, you want to be very well prepared. Varsity Tutors can help you find an experienced LSAT tutor in Los Angeles, California, who can help you optimize your study time. Your tutor understands that you are very busy at this point in your life. Because of this, they can meet with you for study sessions either online or in person at a time and location that works best for you.

While you may have aced the majority of your courses for your undergraduate degree, any weaknesses in even one of the four sections on the exam could be costly. Los Angeles, California, LSAT tutors can work with you on either the logical reasoning section, analytical reasoning section, reading comprehension section, or the essay section (or every section, should you prefer). Your tutor can give you a practice exam to isolate the sections on which you need to focus most of your time. From there, you can work together to devise a custom study plan tailor-made for your learning goals and needs.

In today's session, we continued our discussion of solving related rates problems. After we reviewed the solving process where we write the unknowns and applicable equations, we worked lots of problems that tested a variety of types of questions. Many of these problems were pretty straightforward since the pattern to solve these questions is fairly consistent. For the first few, I worked the problem alongside the student in order to make sure that we both were on the same page. For the next few problems, I had him work them individually to see if he could solve them in a test setting. He is quite comfortable solving these problems and only occasionally gets confused on the direction of the sign of the derivative.
