During this session we have reviewed two exercises that I requested from the student to do as homework. I have offered printed material to cover the usage of the auxiliary "etre" and "Avoir", but also the prepositions "en" and "y". I continued with the activities using the present conditional tense. For the next session, the student will be preparing another exercise using the future tense.

We reviewed direct, indirect, and double object pronouns which is the most recent concept she learned in class, and did a few exercises to practice when to use each of them. We reviewed verbs again, and added a few new ones this week and now that she is solid on most of them we will continue to add a few each week. We also practiced recitation on a poem that she memorized for class a few weeks ago.

Reviewed for her test tomorrow. We did a dice roll verb conjugation activity to review present and past tense verbs that will be on her test. We reviewed irregular verbs with songs to help her remember. I went over a list of strategies, tricks, and reminders for her test.

We reviewed some useful verbs, learned a few new ones, and learned quite a bit of vocabulary. This was geared at helping her with speaking, which she did for about 20 minutes. We then reviewed how to make and use different tenses. She is making progress with her speaking; she retains words after hearing them one time.

The student has been requesting to do crossword puzzles, so we did one today to gauge her retention on the numerous words she learned last week. Overall, she did well on them. I did leave next week's plan with her, so she can start reading ahead and preparing. To help with her pronunciation and listening skills, I loaned her three French films.
