PASSAGE
A long solenoid of radius R, n turns per unit length, carries a current I(t)=I0sin(ωt). A circular conducting loop of radius r<R lies in the plane perpendicular to the solenoid axis and is coaxial with it. The loop has resistance R and negligible self-inductance.
What is the amplitude of the current induced in the small loop, and in what direction does it flow relative to the solenoid current at the moment when I(t) is at its maximum positive value?
