PASSAGE
Read the following conversation between a tourist (T) and a shopkeeper (S).
T: "Can you tell me how to get to the botanical garden from here?"
S: "Of course! Walk down this street — that's Elm Street — heading east. You'll pass a hospital on your left and a school on your right. After the school, cross at the pedestrian bridge over the river. Once you cross, you can't miss it — the garden entrance is directly in front of you."
T: "Is there another way in case the bridge is closed?"
S: "Yes. Instead of crossing the bridge, go right on Canal Street, which runs along the river. Follow it for about five minutes and you'll reach the south entrance of the garden."
The tourist crosses the pedestrian bridge but sees only a parking lot in front of her, not a garden entrance. Which piece of information from the conversation would BEST help her figure out what went wrong?
