COMM 405: Organizational Communication — Syllabus
Course Requirements:
1. Case Study Analysis (25%) — Three case studies, each worth equal weight within this category. Due Weeks 4, 8, and 12.
2. Group Project (30%) — Proposal due Week 5; Final presentation due Week 14. Both components are graded; the proposal is worth 20% of the Group Project grade, and the presentation is worth 80%.
3. Midterm (20%) — Week 7
4. Final Exam (25%) — Scheduled by Registrar
Grade Disputes: Students may dispute a grade within seven calendar days of receiving it. Disputes submitted after seven days will not be reviewed. The instructor reserves the right to re-grade the entire assignment during a dispute, which may result in a higher or lower grade.
Extra Credit: One extra-credit reflection paper (up to 3 percentage points added to the final course grade) may be submitted any time before the last day of the regular class session.
