Recent Tutoring Session Reviews
"We went over his last test and prepared him for his upcoming trimester exam. We covered logs, trig manipulation, graphing, and ambiguous triangle cases."
"We went over notes, old quizzes, and homework. He is an excellent learner and has very good math skills."
"We covered in this session vectors and their application in the real world. The student picked up on the topic and showed little difficulty in understanding of the concepts."
"We reviewed the student's entire test and came to some great conclusions. We pinpointed 3 areas to work on: the properties of exponents / order of operations, standard form equations and using more scratch paper / write neatly with space. He will be receiving several reviews for his upcoming final they will be sending me so our next session can be productive, informative and efficient! Good work today."
"I reviewed with the student graphing inverse trig functions. We covered determining the amplitude, period, and any phase shifts. We also reviewed composition trig functions, both exact and algebraic, and we went through how to determine when the interval is in numerical or radian measures and why the interval is -1/2pi to 1/2pi and not 0-pi."
"We covered law of sines and cosines. The student really understood what he was doing. He was pretty confident doing the work. One of the law of cosines was a little lengthy, but all in all he had a pretty good attitude towards the material. A strategy we looked at was depending on the sides and the associate angle, how to quickly recognize which law to use. He seems to grasping the material pretty well and is confident on what he is doing."
