"The student is great! Today we covered the skeletal system in its entirety! The student and I talked through the skeletal system at first, and then the student walked me through everything we went over at the end of the session. I look forward to working with the student again soon!"
"The student is taking a 4-week plant biology course. Today, we spent a fair amount of time going over the course layout and requirements. We then made a game plan of our approach to tutoring assistance. What we did today was skim through the first unit. There were many concepts that he did not understand, so as we went through it, I broke things down into smaller parts and used more general vocabulary. The topic of Unit 1 is plant cells. He said having me talk him through the unit was very helpful! From what I can tell, the student catches on quickly. We are hoping to meet again this weekend for another session."
"The student needed a bit of help with her isotope homework. There were a few select problems she did not understand that involved atomic number, mass number, ions, and word equations. She now has a much better understanding of how to do these problems."
