Recent Tutoring Session Reviews
"This week, we reviewed the recent material the student has covered in class, as well as looking ahead to the perfect passive participle and the ablative absolute, a construction employing the participle. I introduced the concepts and then we practiced translating a number of sentences to see their usage in work. We also did some work on memorizing the Pater Noster in Latin, and I helped him get the pronunciation of some of the more difficult words down."
"We went over several tests the student had taken and gotten back recently, We discussed subjects such as infinitives, indirect statement trigger verbs (verbs of the head), and imperatives."
"Today the student and I worked on translating English to Latin and went over his Latin final which he got an 82 on. He made a few mistakes multiple times. This is good. He did not make many single mistakes. This is correctable. Also, I saw that he got a 90 on his most recent vocabulary quiz. I left him with practice to conjugate a verb and decline a noun daily."
