Recent Tutoring Session Reviews
"The student spent the session working on homework that covered graphing trigonometric functions. He seemed to have a good grasp on the unit circle and how to graph the inverse trig functions."
"We covered chapter 6.5 regarding material such as parametric equations and functions. We also went over his quiz to correct his mistakes and find new ways to approach the problem."
"Today, we covered problems in using trigonometric identities. The student just needed verification she was doing things correctly and maybe some hints on working problems. I will tutor her again in the next week to help prep for a test."
"We were solving absolute value equations that lead into the solution linear or quadratic equations. Also we have reviewed how to solve the quadratic equations by factoring and using the quadratic formula. We also solved the quadratic equations using the square root property. We will continue to master the skills of solving quadratic equations."
"The student had three worksheets to cover for this week and the first was over domain and range from either an equation or a graph. She had a little trouble with square root and rational function domains but started catching on after a few examples. She had no trouble with the domain and range with graphs. She also had time to start a worksheet that covered different topics including maximum and minimum values of functions as well as zeros."
"We reviewed graphing quadratic, cubic, logarithmic, and exponential functions. In addition, we covered transformations of the functions."
