"The student and I spent an hour reviewing for her chemistry test which was the following day, and she seemed to be very comfortable with the material before we even reviewed. She had completed many practice problems before our session and the test itself did not cover much material. All that it covered was the students' ability to convert from one unit of pressure to another, as well as their ability to apply Charles Law, Dalton's Law, Boyle's Law, and the ideal gas law to solve problems for specific variables. She had all of these laws memorized well and knew how to work with them. We will meet next week to prepare for finals."

"The student went over two chapters in her review book. She was prompted to read to short review chapters out loud and was asked questions for comprehension throughout the chapter. She also answered review questions following each chapter and was prompted to go back into the text when looking for answers. In addition the student went over challenging questions for her final review in Geometry. Modeling of solutions as well as additional practice questions were provided for reinforcement."

"The student and I continued to review for her chemistry exam using the second review packet. We mainly discussed acid-base equilibria, including calculating pH/pOH of strong/weak acid/base either directly or using ICE box, understanding conjugate acid-base pair and the formation of buffer to resist the change in pH, analyzing titration curves of strong acid-base, strong acid - weak base, and strong base - weak acid, distinguishing the difference between endpoint and equivalence point, finding the appropriate indicator for different titration processes, etc. The student was still confused about some pH/pOH calculations and we will continue to practice these concepts. We had two remaining pages to wrap up the packet."
