"We finished going over the student's math packet, then we started drafting essays for a history project he has."
"The student and I met and went through an interactive persuasion map to create an argument structure. He had no homework."
"The first student and I worked on studying for his social studies test this week. We went through the entire chapter, going over each vocab word, and verbalizing some answers to the reading check questions and the critical thinking questions at the end of each section. He did pretty well with this, but needed to look back to find some information. We read through some parts and talked about what it meant, and I quizzed him a bit to make sure he knew it. We ended the session working on his verbal studies book, where he had to match the word to its meaning in multiple choice questions. He flew through these. The second student and I worked on her math, counting by 5s and 2s, and then her vocabulary. She was great at counting by 5s, but struggled a bit with the 2s. By the end of the problems however, she was getting much better and got all the answers correct. She did a great job on the word problem at the end, thinking of things she could use to count by 2s. For vocab, we did unscrambling, so I scrambled the letters in her words and then she had to figure out which words they were. She was very fast at this and did great!"
