Recent Tutoring Session Reviews
"We covered arguments and went over the basic structure of the exam. She is to do two sections of logical reasoning on her own and familiarize herself with the logic games strategies and attempt a logic game. We talked about the fundamentals and how to read faster and eliminate unlikely answer choices as well."
"We reviewed logical reasoning and reading comprehension. We focused on summarizing the logic of passages to anticipate the answers. The student seemed to grasp concept well."
"The student and I covered the 10 types of arguments questions, approaches for each type, and a study plan to determine strengths and weaknesses and improve his overall score."
"We focused on RC today, reading for structure and doing practice passages together. The student seems generally comfortable with these passages, and we just have to work on getting used to the types of questions the LSAT asks."
"We focused primarily on logic games. The student is scoring about a 165 on the exam right now, and his goal is to score above 170. He usually misses about 2-4 questions in each of the reading and analytical reasoning sections, and 7-9 questions on each game section. We deduced that he is able to get almost all game questions right in a short amount of time if he understands the game conditions clearly at the beginning of each game, and creates a correct diagram, so he is going to practice doing that (both timed and untimed) this week. He is a fast learner, and he is committed to studying for the exam."
"We focused strictly on Logic Games, running through some that were pretty tough. The student managed to do quite well on some difficult problems."
