The student and I made some tremendous progress on her project - she had elaborated on her slides (photos, etc.), so we finished the last Spanish texts, and those are now complete. We started off this session with some good news: The student told me that on his last AP Gov test, he only missed one question, his highest grade on a test in that class so far. To prepare for is AP Gov quiz, he asked me about concepts on is study guide and we went over them together. We reviewed efficacy and talked about voting rights. Then we talked about the 15th, 17th, 19th, 24th, and 26th amendments. To help him remember these amendments, I had him draw a little picture to represent each one. He thought this activity was helpful, so I will try to incorporate more activities like this in the future. Also I sent him the link to a fun video about women's suffrage to watch on his own. Then we moved on to Spanish. We reviewed when to use the subjunctive and how to form it. I helped him understand how to use the subjunctive in adverbial expressions.
