Recent Tutoring Session Reviews
"The session went well today. We have come up with a strategy to address some of the gaps that exist in terms of his basic understanding of Spanish, and I encouraged him to practice with flashcards. Lack of vocabulary seems to be the biggest challenge currently for the student. He is going to start setting aside time to practice memorizing his Spanish vocabulary and phrases, and I am confident that if he does this alone he will see improvement."
"As the student stated she had issues with multiple choice exercises, I brought her a set of exercises that included multiple choice (on which she demonstrated to have a good grasp of the past tense but some questions with the imperfect), as well as fill in the blanks and conjugations. Also, during this session, we went over the previous week's definitions again to reinforce. We also covered the rules for imperfect, preterite, and present (she wrote these down in her notebook to have easy access in the future)."
"We covered preterite, present perfect, and present perfect progressive. The student was able to figure out conjugation patterns for these tenses. School material was used. He has extra practice in his books. His working pace increased since last time."
