Recent Tutoring Session Reviews
"This session we continued to work with translation of shapes. The student has had little difficulty picking up this session. He was able to move through his homework at a fast pace. He was able to complete 2 assignments during out session. I believe the student will do fine on his next test seeing that he is picking up the concepts quite easily. We did add to his notes during the session so that he will be more than prepared for the next test. Near the end of the session we focused on attempting some review questions. Again the student had little difficulty doing the problems I picked. Look forward to the next session."
"The student spent the last two sessions reviewing for an upcoming Algebra assessment that will cover radicals and exponentials, complex functions, and polynomial manipulation. She is actually doing quite well with the algorithms and problem solving technique, but she needs to be much more careful with signs and basic operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)."
"The student and I reviewed for the test. We reviewed the Algebra and Data Analysis sections. She is struggling with a few of the concepts, so I left her with detailed notes and 2 algebraic assignments to be completed by our next session. We will meet midweek. She is making good progress!"
"The student worked on problems where she had to eliminate the parameter and graph the equation as well as word problems where she had to write the parametric equations and solve for components. She worked on a problems that involved projectile motion and the parametric equations for the displacement of a projectile in the x and y directions, solving for maximum height attained, maximum distance traveled horizontally and the times it took to reach both. The student did great!"
"The student and I worked on problems from class during the day. He continues to be highly cooperative and engaged. I am impressed with his commitment in this area."
"We worked on logarithmic functions. The student was very willing to learn and understood everything we went over very quickly. I left him a couple pages of notes to read over as he continues with the subject."
