"First the student did her exponent homework. Then we did number placement and played the game. We also went over her math facts and reviewed. The last 20 minutes or so, we went over the brain and functions of the brain areas."
"First, I introduced the student to the concept of text structure, a fourth grade concept. We completed a short introductory activity on text structure and then read a nonfiction article, discussed its text structure, and completed a graphic organizer. In math, we practiced rounding using number lines, and rounding money. We also practiced adding money. Next time, we will focus more on reading fluency than reading comprehension, and delve into some introductory fourth grade math concepts."
