Recent Tutoring Session Reviews
"The student took a practice test after our last meeting, in which she had issues with finishing sections on time. As such, today we identified and discussed time management, and worked on this during our meeting. We focused on logical reasoning today. The student will work on the reading comprehension and take one more practice test before our next meeting."
"For this session, we covered primarily the LSAT, logic games, logical reasoning, and reading comprehension. The student needs to learn tricks to do them more quickly and help understand what each question is looking for. The student is willing to learn and has a good understanding of LSAT concepts and just needs help identifying specific problem areas."
"In today's session, I covered some practice questions in the logical reasoning section organized by question type (flaw, strengthen/weaken, inference, etc.). I advised that in logical reasoning, it is sometimes better to read the question first simply to know what type of question you're dealing with. Many times the question applies only to one point of view (out of two presented) and many times a quick glance saves you a lot of time. Again, the student understands the logic and the question types and I encouraged her to continue working on practice tests."
