How can a Trigonometry tutor help you?

Trigonometry is the study of angles and sides of triangles, and it's an integral part of all geometry. Astronomers, carpenters, and gardeners use trigonometry to varying degrees. Don't think it's pure theory; trigonometry in some form is a part of daily life for architects and even artists.

So if you're struggling with tangents, co-functions, or even the more advanced aspects like Gudermannian function or Thales' theorem, we have the answer. Varsity Tutors could help you find a tutor in Henderson to try to help you create a study plan that strives to strive to ensure you ace your trigonometry course. Your personal tutor will take the time to understand your current level and then work with you to fill in the gaps in your knowledge and ensure you pass with flying colors.

We reviewed for the chapter test on rational functions before going through the topics for the cumulative test from linear functions to polynomials. We practiced finding horizontal, vertical, and slant asymptotes to sketch the graph of the function. We reviewed how to find the x- and y-intercepts of a function as well as any gaps in the graph. We then went back and looked at graphing inequalities and solving systems of inequalities by graphing. We also reviewed the rational roots theorem for polynomials and finding all the complex roots for a polynomial. We talked through how to find the equation for the parabola that goes through specific points. The student is doing better at sketching the graph of a rational function and graphing inequalities.

The student and I had a great session. We talked about trigonometric functions and how to solve right triangles using the 6 functions. We talked about how those are related, how to solve angles, and some of the basic identities of them. He is feeling "10 times better" about the material after our session. Our next session is scheduled for Friday.
