Recent Tutoring Session Reviews
"Today, the student and I discussed the end of transcription, and all of the phases of translation. We then discussed protein folding as well as the more general points of RNA interference. He is showing promise in the sessions and has proven to have a good grasp on knowledge covered in previous sessions. I will continue to confirm his understanding of the knowledge as we review the material with problems provided by the professor. The next session will cover gene regulation as well as a more in depth discussion of RNA interference."
"Covered information for his text next week on viruses, bacteria, macroevolution, and taxonomy. I made him a worksheet for evolution that we did, and we practiced problems out of the study guide."
"This was my first time meeting with her so we discussed what her issues are and how her professor teaches the course and what he excepts. She would like help reviewing certain material before her next exam. Today we went over alcohols, how they are created and what type of reactions they are used in. We also went over organometallic compounds. I explained that I like to create quizzes for her to do before we meet again. Quizzes allow me to see where she gets stuck in the process instead of just lecturing to her like a professor does."
