Recent Tutoring Session Reviews
"Today we finished the immunity system chapter and starting going over the cardiovascular system. The student will continue memorizing and building charts to connect the main concepts."
"We covered the relationship between voltage, current and resistance and understand circuits. We also reviewed previous material of forces, electrical fields and magnetic fields of charges."
"The student and I met to review for her chemistry test. The test was on titrations, buffers, and solubility. We went through the sample problems in the notebook, and she was confident she could solve those problems on the test. She should be able to do the problems that we reviewed from the homework. She also understands the factors that affect solubility and what makes an acid or base strong or weak."
"We reviewed a few problems from the study book regarding physics and stoichiometry. The student did the problems correctly. We will plan to work on the unit conversion practice problems I email him, and we will continue to work on stoichiometry, hoping for mastery by September."
"I helped the student with trigonometry. She did not have a good idea of what radians were and also of how to measure angles in different quadrants, so we went over that in detail. I also made sure she has a firm understanding of sin, cos, and tan. She now has a strong grasp of the basics of trigonometry."
"We reviewed the short topics that had been covered in class. The student understood most of it, and we worked on the concepts that he didn't understand at first. Next week we will start studying for his final. I asked him to go over the review sheet and highlight the topics he has more trouble with, so we can start with those."
