Recent Tutoring Session Reviews
"The student and I reviewed for her upcoming final. We went over her review sheets from class. She mostly had questions about problems involving algebraic topics like the slope formula and utilizing point-slope form and slope-intercept form. She had a good attitude and remained focused throughout the session. I expect her to do well on her semester exam."
"The student and I reviewed his math test, covering the questions he was having problems with. In most cases, he was overlooking one small thing in his geometry proofs, so we discussed where his errors were."
"The student and I reviewed his most recent math test. He struggled on the true/ false portion of the test, so we went through those in detail, but did extremely well on actually solving math problems. We will also go over some example true/ false questions before his next exam. We went through a worksheet that introduced a new type of question using congruent angles and sides. He did well on these questions, and absorbed the material quickly. The session was great, and we covered a lot of material!"
"The student and I reviewed his quiz. He understands the concepts of proofs and conjectures fully, and needs to remember to read each question fully before answering. We will continue to review the vocabulary so that he can correctly apply the concepts to each question."
"The student and I reviewed how to proof congruent triangles. She had a great attitude and paid attention during the session. She will have a test on Wednesday, and I feel that she is ready for the test."
"The student and I reviewed much of the material we covered last session, mainly points of concurrency, their characteristics, and how they're found. Once she sorts out their differences, she is able to apply them easily in math questions. The key to this part of her test is really memorizing the concepts so that she can apply them swiftly. I expect her to do well on these topics."
