Recent Tutoring Session Reviews
"The student and I discussed the concepts covered by the subject of chemical equilibrium. We discussed Le Chatelier's principle, predicting in which direction a reaction will proceed, and how to create ICE tables for insoluble salt dissolutions. For the next sessions, I am going to ask him to take very detailed notes in class so that we can compare how I teach the material with how it is taught in class. Hopefully, the combined methods will help him review the material presented, and find his preferred method for arriving at conclusions. I have also asked him to notify me in advance what he is covering in class so that I may prepare a lesson plan for the next session in which we meet."
"We continue to review for upcoming final in genetics. We started to practice Punnett squares and making note cards on different genetics terms."
"The student and I walked through the problems he was wanting help with remembering how to do, from earlier in the semester. We did a refresher on how to do certain problems, and once he was refreshed on them he was getting them very easily. He is a very bright young man and should come out of Chemistry with an A with ease."
