"Today we drew and played with Play-do. The kids are very smart but still shy to speak Spanish. Both understand very well but won't respond in Spanish willingly, so this will be something that I will continue to address in future lessons."
"Today we finished all of the units. We worked on adverbs and adding -mente to turn an adjective into an adverb. For example, rapido to rapidamente. We also worked on reflexive verbs and pronouns -me, -te, -se, and -nos. We also reviewed the conjugation of verbs like -poder, -tener, and -pedir. We studied words for family like -padre, -madre, -t o/a, -nietos, -abuelo/a, sobrino/a, and primo/a. The last unit focused on -tener + que and -hace + tiempo + que. The student showed a good understanding of all the concepts. She's doing great work!"
"Today we focused once again on the ABCs in Spanish, and on the colors. We worked on numbers for a bit, as well. I also taught the student how to say a couple of words and phrases in Spanish. She did a lot better with her colors and her ABCs."
