Recent Tutoring Session Reviews
"To start off, I had the students find any toy or object that matched the color I called out in Spanish. Following after, we played hide and seek, but with counting in Spanish. We eventually reviewed our animal vocabulary, upon which the student have demonstrated improvement. Finally, we reviewed our body parts in Spanish, while moving on to the more specific parts of the body, such as face, nose, ears, eyes, etc. Overall, the session went excellently, and we will continue with body parts next week."
"Reviewed verbs (regular, stem-changing, irregular) in the present tense. Did multiple choice Spanish I exams to review and see what needs more practice."
"We went over Introductory Conversations (Hi, How are you, What is your name, Where are you from, etc.). The student was able to flow through a conversation when I provided a basic script with the translations of the questions. He will need to memorize the questions and responses, which will be no problem for this student. I left him with the script to memorize. I was happy with this student, he was very willing to try to speak immediately. I'm sure he will advance quickly."
