Recent Tutoring Session Reviews
"Today, we finished covering solutions and concentrations for the student's upcoming test. It also covered boiling point elevations and freezing point depressions."
"During this lesson, the student and I went through her post-lab questions which consisted of calculating molar mass and using that to determine how many moles of substance they measured (for 10 different substances) during her lab class. We also converted the number of moles to representative molecules. After completing the lab, she had some questions on her worksheet that were related to those on her lab as well as percent composition and empirical formulas. She did okay with the multiple choice section."
"We briefly reviewed all of the major points from lessons 11.1-11.4 and then went over the student's relevant homework assignments. These assignments are collected all at the end of the unit on the day of the test and are graded on completion. Many of the problems from her homework overlapped with problems she and I had previously worked through, and many others had yet to be filled out. We spent the remainder of the session going through and completing these questions. I left her with the remainder of the initial review worksheet to look over, which I hope to work on with her this Tuesday as the final task before she takes her exam."
