German Tutoring review by Michael in San Francisco-Bay Area, CA
The student brought me up to speed with what his class has covered so far this year. He mentioned that his major study technique has been just to go over his notes in his notebook from class to study, but he feels like he sometimes misses important concepts and then suffers on the test/quiz. I mentioned to him that flash cards can be a big help to re-organize and give yourself a fresh outlook on studying. They're also easy to carry with you to study on the go. We worked through some grammar from his textbook which covered adjective endings and all the different scenarios for using them. He seemed very capable of following and understanding the grammar lesson and said he felt confident about the material.

German Tutoring review by Carolyn in San Francisco-Bay Area, CA
Today we went over the material that the student needs to know for this week. She is going to have to know the conjugations for the following verbs: avoir, inviter, organizer, jouer, and etudier. We also went over the question words (who, what, where, when, why, and how) with a focus on pronunciation. She reports that her oral quiz grades have improved. We completed a few parts of an extra credit assignment as well as pages in her workbook about telephone conversations.

German Tutoring review by Alice in San Francisco-Bay Area, CA
The student has an exam this coming Tuesday, so we reviewed a lot of material, mostly questions and negative sentences. We also worked on pronunciation. She feels good about her work in French and she is indeed making progress and paying more attention to nasal consonants and plural agreements. Today she was able to write three sentences in French by herself, using the material she has learned in class so far.
