The student practiced her skills in applying the correct conjugation of regular verbs and learned the general concepts of plural constructions. She will finish 2 exercises from chapter 5 and will learn the new vocabulary.

German Tutoring review by William in Ann Arbor, MI
This was my first session with the student for German 2. I think that the session overall went very well. I have a good feeling that she will be able to get back on track to where she needs to be within a few months. As far as what we covered specifically, we mainly worked with the present perfect, and we also talked a bit about the concept of direct and indirect objects.

German Tutoring review by Michael in Ann Arbor, MI
The student showed me a couple of recent assignments and we took a look to see what the issues were. It looks like she missed a couple of key points because she didn't know what a couple of the words meant. This is very common. We discussed and fixed those issues and we talked about strategies for how to approach reading comprehension assignments in the future. Specifically, if she has trouble with a word, we talked about finding it in the passage and using context clues to make a good guess. We are ahead in German, so she wanted some guidance on a psychology project. We set up and organized the important information for her project. Now all she has to do is get creative and find a fun way to present the information.
