Recent Tutoring Session Reviews
"We went over the chapter on arcs and chords of circles, then did the homework. He has a really good understanding of the material."
"Introduced the concept of sine, cosine, and tangent, as the student was previously having some trouble understanding how these work."
"We went over finding arc lengths and measures of different arcs. We also covered previous topics such as SSS, SAS, AAS, and congruency."
"We went over congruent triangles today and reviewed questions the student missed on his last exam. Overall, he did very well the last test (94). Apparently, this was his first A on a math test. Prior to the tutoring, he was making 70-75 on the past 3 tests. He should make another A easily at this rate."
"Today, I helped the student with the homework that involved dilations and how to rotate figures at certain angles. She did well with the homework, and I asked her some questions about the concept. She was able to get the answer after a quick breakdown and understanding of the problem."
"The student is learning about DNA, RNA, the amino acids, and their relationships. More specifically, he is learning about mutations due to deletion, insertion, and transposition/replacement and how those affect the way amino acids are expressed and make proteins. In geometry, they are learning about similar figures and how their dimensions are related."
