Throughout my life, I have loved helping others, both because I view it as a responsibility to share knowledge and mentorship, and because teaching reinforces my own understanding. In high school, I joined online forums and local study groups to answer students' questions, primarily in mathematics and chemistry. I also offered support to students who struggled to keep up with these subjects and felt hesitant to ask their teachers, helping some of them achieve significantly improved grades.
During my chemical engineering studies, I wanted to help others on a larger scale and began creating a website to share condensed notes on chemical engineering fundamentals. I distilled lengthy textbooks into concise material focused on the essentials students truly need. So far, I have published notes on single-variable and multi-variable calculus and am currently working on linear algebra and statistics.
After graduation, I taught GCSE mathematics, using an approach that emphasized active engagement and peer explanation. I encouraged students to read material beforehand, bring questions, and solve problems collaboratively. By asking them to explain concepts to their peers, I could assess and strengthen their understanding while fostering an interactive learning environment.
