Certified Tutor

I am an experienced tutor who helps college/university students, as well as high school students, build confidence and excel in their courses. I hold a Bachelor's in Economics and a Master of Arts in Economics from Queen's University. During my academic career, I served as a Teaching Assistant for core Economics courses and was the recipient of a prestigious academic award for research excellence. This experience gives me an inside perspective on how courses are structured and how exams are designed.

I specialize in tutoring quantitative and analytical subjects, including Economics (High School, AP, IB, Introductory, Intermediate, and Advanced Micro & Macro), Monetary Economics, Financial Economics, Statistics, Econometrics, Finance, and Accounting.

My passion is guiding students from "I'm completely lost" to mastering challenging, abstract topics. My teaching philosophy is built on creating a deep, intuitive understanding. I don't just offer formulas to memorize; I use real-world examples to explain why the models work. I also share proven learning and studying techniques that empower students to not just do okay, but to truly excel in their coursework.

My style is patient and structured. I will never rush through difficult material; instead, I patiently navigate the topic with a student until they get it. We will work together to break down complex problems into simple, manageable steps.
