Certified Tutor

I am a graduate of Brown University, where I majored in Geology-Biology and Literary Arts. During college, I worked on many scientific research projects, wrote and edited for a student-run publication, helped teach a couple of undergraduate science courses, and advocated for sustainability on my campus. I took advantage of my summers to conduct research in cool new places, such as Alaska, Austria, and India. Since graduating, I have dedicated my time to education, including my last job where I taught students from the Los Angeles area Earth and environmental science in the outdoors. While I enjoy teaching a wide scope of subjects, I'm especially passionate about science and creative writing. I also love helping students improve their test scores, as I believe my hard work at mastering standardized tests help me get to where I am today.
