My name is Adrienne Maier, and I am currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Spanish at Indiana University of Pennsylvania. With over four years of tutoring experience, I specialize in middle school writing and Spanish, having worked with diverse learners, from young students to adults. My teaching philosophy centers on creating engaging and tailored learning experiences that resonate with students' interests and backgrounds. Having studied abroad in Spain, I gained insights into cultural nuances, which I incorporate into my lessons to make language learning both meaningful and enjoyable. I strive to foster a supportive environment where students feel motivated to explore and express themselves. Outside of tutoring, I enjoy reading and teaching group fitness classes, which enrich my understanding of effective communication and engagement strategies. I look forward to passing along my knowledge and love of learning to others!
