I'm Steve Sullivan, and I retired from a career in management consulting in 2023. Prior to retiring and since, I have cultivated a passion for tutoring English, reading, and writing, primarily with elementary school students, including many English language learners. My approach centers around fostering a fun and engaging learning environment, where I often base lessons around books to deepen comprehension and encourage critical thinking. I believe that students learn best when they can connect their reading to their own lives, and I strive to create that connection through interactive discussions and creative writing exercises. Witnessing my students' growth and enthusiasm for learning is incredibly rewarding, and I look forward to continuing to inspire young minds in their educational journeys.
