I have always been passionate about making connections and having fun with kid! Deep down, I am a big kid myself! I love working with students, and I get so excited when they are having fun learning and catch onto a challenging skill!
I have taught for a total of 23 years. My first 10 years, I taught all subjects to 2nd grade students. The following 10 years, I taught Math & Science to students in 3rd Grade. The past 3 years, I have taught Math and Science to gifted students.
I received my B.S. in Early Childhood Education from Miami University in 2002. After that, I completed my Master's of Education in Administration from Xavier University in 2004. Following that degree, I received my Gifted Endorsement from the University of Cincinnati in 2016. My most recent degree was through Bowling Green State University where I obtained my 4/5 Generalist License.
I have strong experience with tutoring Reading and Math. Math has been more of my focus the last few years, but I still love helping students with Reading as well!

Outside of education, I enjoy doing crafty things. I have a side business where I make customized shirts, hats, and earrings. I also love spending time outdoors, going for walks, visiting the beach, and doing anything with my family!
