As a PhD student in Biostatistics at NYU, I am passionate about the intersection of statistics and medicine. My prior educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Biology and a Master of Public Health, which have equipped me with strong backgrounds in a diverse set of topics in biology, chemistry, and mathematics. My experience as a Supplemental Instructor for Organic Chemistry II during college shaped my educational philosophy of cultivating individual relationships with my students to foster a supportive learning environment, empowering them to explore material from various perspectives. I believe that learning occurs most effectively when students are gently pushed past the limits of their current understanding, enabling them to synthesize new concepts on their own and develop new confidence in their abilities as learners. I am most excited to assist students in Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, and GRE preparation for graduate school.
