Certified Tutor

I hold a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from the University of Northern Colorado and bring three years of teaching experience. Of those three years, I spent two years in 3rd grade language arts and one year in 2nd grade general education. In addition to classroom teaching, I also tutor students in both math and language arts. I have a deep passion for helping students build confidence in their academic abilities, especially in reading and mathematics. My teaching philosophy is rooted in hands-on, active learning. I believe students learn best by doing, exploring, and making mistakes along the way. I strive to create a supportive environment where students feel empowered to grow as learners.
