Certified Tutor

I am an experienced educator with over 15 years of service in K12 education, including instructional coaching, curriculum design, and classroom teaching across multiple subject areas. I hold a Doctorate in Middle School Education and a Master's in Curriculum and Instruction. My passion for helping students stems from a deep belief in the transformative power of learningespecially when students feel seen, heard, and supported.

I have worked with students of diverse academic and linguistic backgrounds, supporting both gifted learners and those needing intervention. While I tutor multiple subjects, I especially enjoy supporting students in English Language Arts and Reading, helping them build confidence through strategies that strengthen comprehension, vocabulary, and writing. I also offer tutoring in Spanish and study skills.

My tutoring style is warm, encouraging, and structured. I believe in meeting students where they are, setting clear goals, and celebrating small wins along the way. Outside of academics, I enjoy reading, exploring different cultures, and mentoring students in their personal growth.
