Certified Tutor

As a passionate educator with a Master's in Education from Northeastern University, I have over two years of tutoring experience, alongside more than eight years of classroom teaching, primarily in first grade. My teaching philosophy centers on patience and understanding each student's unique strengths and learning styles. I strive to create a supportive and engaging environment that fosters curiosity and confidence in learning, particularly in ESL/ELL subjects, as I teach primarily in Spanish.

I believe in tailoring lessons through diagnostic assessments and continuous feedback, ensuring that every student feels valued and motivated. My dedication to early literacy and effective communication drives my commitment to help students progress and succeed academically.

Outside of teaching, I enjoy exploring cultural experiences and sharing my Dominican heritage, which enriches my approach to language education.
