Certified Tutor

I am an undergraduate student pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at Villanova University. I expect to graduate in 2026. I began writing tutoring as part of my high school's English Honors Society, and during my time at Villanova, I have been given the opportunity to continue this work. As a tutor at the Villanova University Writing Center, I contribute to the center's mission to create collaborative student-tutor relationships through a student-centered approach to tutoring that accommodates the many forms writers and their writing may take. With this, I am prepared to work with ESL students as well as students with disabilities. In addition to tutoring experience, I have gained a passion for English and writing through this role. I had the honor of representing my university at the Association for Core Texts and Courses (ACTC) Undergraduate Conference in March 2024, accompanied by students from twenty-four different universities who share this passion. I have since developed a personal mission to give students the same enjoyment and inspiration I get from the writing process. While my favorite subject to tutor is English/writing (which can include standardized or AP test prep and college essay work), I am also open to tutoring early level Spanish. I have taken six years of Spanish classes and worked as a Spanish Honors Society tutor, through which I have developed a love for the language and culture. Outside of tutoring, I am a huge foodie! I love to experiment with home cooking and baking as well as explore and try new restaurants. I try to balance this out by being an avid runner. New running routes are just as exciting as new recipes/restaurants to me!
