My name is Sandra Hernandez. I am a retired teacher with 29 years of experience. I started my career in Mexico City where I taught preKinder for five years. After that, My family and I moved to California and there I was able to work as teacher aid few years, But it was not until I moved to Brownsville TX when I decide to go to the university to obtain my teaching certification as a Bilingual Generalist EC-4. After that I started my new teaching adventure working as a Pre K, Kinder, and First grade teacher. I also worked as Skills specialist, and my last 4 years in education I worked as a Dyslexia Interventionist, and as a tutor at the Elementary level. Besides been a teacher, I took the training and I am currently waiting for the results of my oral test as Medical Interpreter. I am fluent in Spanish. I was born and raised in Mexico City. Teaching has always been a passion of mine, and I want to continue tutoring and helping students to succeed in whatever they are learning.

I love to learn. In my free time, I love to spend time in my home office either, painting, knitting, creating or preparing materials to teach my students, or reading online about how to's. I love to watch movies. Horror and action with good plots are my favorites.
