Certified Tutor

I am a current University student, working towards my bachelor's in biology. I've maintained by Basic Life Support license with AHA since January of 2025, and I earned my NREMT certification (at both national and Minnesota state level) in May of 2025. I have been volunteering in EMS since June of 2024 in both rural and urban areas. I truly have a calling for EMS- I cannot imagine being in any other field- despite the difficulties and the immense responsibility.
I believe anyone can succeed in this wonderful, vital field with the right support, encouragement, and education; EMS is a noble pursuit.
Most of my professional experience lies with tutoring elementary students in core subjects, which pushed me to gain a skillset in teaching students who have different natural strengths than classic academia. I have received tutoring in other areas of my education, such as physics, where I gained a great respect and appreciation for qualified people who have a passion for sharing what they know.
I hope to live up to that standard, of being an enthusiastic and dedicated tutor. I will offer to my EMT candidate students patience, the most up-to-date knowledge of EMS content and applicability, as well as the certification process, and explanations in an adaptable form that can be tailored to what they need and how they learn.
